ATHLETE GUIDE
First time

HOWTO START.

Four steps to join a race and activate GPS tracking. Takes about 90 seconds.

1
On first launch
ENTER YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER

If you haven't done so already, enter your name and phone number on the main screen. The app saves them locally on your device and uses them every time you want — you won't need to re-enter them for future races, but you can change them at any time.

💾
Your profile is saved only on your device. No account needed. Enter it once, done.
2
In the join screen
JOIN AN EVENT

If you have chosen to join an event, type the 4-digit code you received from the organizer. The app immediately verifies the code and displays the race name.

When the code is correct, the race name appears. Tap JOIN in green to confirm.

In the tracker screen
START GPS TRACKING

Tap the circular button to start tracking. The app begins collecting your location and sends it to the organizer in real time. The chips at the top show race time, D+ (elevation gain from GPS) and BAT (estimated remaining battery life). Use SHARE to send your tracking link to your supporters.

⚠️
Do not close the app during the race. You can keep the screen off — tracking continues in the background. To stop GPS tracking tap EXIT.
📍
I'm here — button in the Tracker: sends your current position with a Maps or Waze link to anyone coming to pick you up or waiting for you on the route.
🔔
When you start a free outing (24h) you receive a notification in the app with a direct link to your map — handy for sharing it right away or checking your position at any time.
📡
For races with scheduled dates, GPS activates automatically only during the configured race windows — no action needed from you. For free outings (24h) just tap ON as usual.
4
At the end of the race
EXIT CORRECTLY

Tap EXIT at the bottom right. Choose whether you have reached the finish line or are abandoning the race. The app sends one final update and closes.

🏁
I've finished → signals your arrival at the finish line.
Abandon (DNF) → signals that you have dropped from the race.
In both cases your data is sent before closing.
🆘
SOS button — use it only in a real emergency: it immediately sends your precise location and personal details to the organizer, highlighting your position on the map.
